FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of I&C. The method consists in setting mutual location of devices that detect images of the object of interest, which perform consecutive or synchronous detection of the object of interest in different spectral ranges. They produce an image of a whole object with a certain background with the help of one detecting device having sensitivity in the remote infrared range, on this image they separate the object itself from the background, and also separate individual segments of the object and localise them on this image. Similar segments of the object are localised on images produced from other detecting devices, which are sensitive in ordinary visible and/or near infrared rage, or regardless of the first detecting device they align these detecting devices in space relative to the first detecting device so that they detect images of object segments localised on images from the first detecting device. They calculate orientation of object segments and direction of the look line.

EFFECT: reduction of noise introduced by external sources, at the stage of image registration.
