SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of sanitary processing and can be used for sterilisation of different surfaces, for instance, packages and medical instruments. Method of material sterilisation includes introduction of solution, which contains peroxyacetic acid, diluted to concentration lower than 10000 ppm, into hot gas flow with obtaining vapour of peroxyacetic acid, and bringing obtained vapour of peoxyacetic acid in contact with materials to be sterilised without precipitation of condensate drops on the surface of said material.
EFFECT: invention provides reduction of sterilisation time due to elimination of stage of processed material drying.
