SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heat engineering and can be used in the manufacture of heat exchangers. The method of forming walls with increased surface to perform a certain technological process comprises the following steps: providing the length of material having opposite initial surfaces, and the said material has a longitudinal axial line located substantially midway between the said surfaces, and each of the said initial surfaces has a density of the initial surface; the secondary patterns are pressed, having the densities of surfaces, in each of the said initial surfaces for deformation of the said material; and the primary patterns are pressed, having the densities of the primary pattern surfaces, in each of such deformed surfaces for additional deformation of the material and for additional increase in the densities of the surfaces on each of the said surfaces.
EFFECT: improvement of efficiency of the surface of the heat transfer.
