SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of manufacturing a patterned die for forming a pattern on a profiled surface. Method for manufacturing patterned die (100) for forming the pattern on profiled surface (10) is disclosed. Method comprises forming flexible die layer (120) carrying picture of elements (122). Pressing of the flexible die layer to the profiled surface at which the picture of elements is turned to the profiled surface. Application of fluid support layer (130) over the flexible die layer on the profiled surface. Curing of backing layer (140) with the formation of the patterned die. Rejection of the patterned die from the profiled layer. In addition, a corresponding patterned die, an imprinting method, and an imprinted product are disclosed.
EFFECT: invention provides the creation of the patterned die to form a more accurate pattern on the profiled surface.
