FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of gas-reagent into lower chamber (6) of chemical reactor, filling upper chamber (1) of chemical reactor with gas-reagent from lower chamber (6) through gas-permeable partition (2) and supply of radioactive melted alkali metal into upper chamber (1) of chemical reactor. After that dispersion of melted alkali metal is performed by baffle (7) of alkali metal jet in upper part of upper chamber (1), interaction in upper chamber (1) of chemical reactor of dispersed alkali metal and gas-reagent with constant support of excessive pressure of gas-reagent in upper chamber (1) with obtaining solid products of recycling. Accumulation of solid recycling products is provided in the bottom part of upper chamber (1) with possibility of their extraction.

EFFECT: increased productivity of periodic method of radioactive alkali metal recycling, absence of calibrated cloggable holes for supply of melted alkali metal, absence of gas circulation through chemical reactor and carryover of radioactive particles with gas from it.
