SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reducing agent drip feed into an outlet pipeline of an internal combustion engine (ICE). The method of reducing agent drip feed (1) representing an aqueous urea solution into an outlet pipeline (2) of an internal combustion engine (3) (ICE) consists in detection of at least one parameter (4) of spent gases (SG) during ICE operation. Depending on the detected parameter (4) of SG, they set the size (5) of a drop (6) of the supplied reducing agent (1). Depending on the specified size (5) of the drop (6) they set the first pressure (7) of reducing agent (1) injection into an outlet pipeline (2), and into an outlet pipeline (2) with a supply unit (8) they supply a reducing agent (1). Also the device is described, which is suitable for realisation of such method.
EFFECT: provision of maximum even distribution of a reducing agent in SG flow in all modes of ICE operation for improved evaporation of a reducing agent.
