FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to exhaust gas toxicity reduction system. Claimed system comprises the device for hydrocarbons feed to exhaust pipeline arranged along the exhaust gas flow behind the hydrocarbons feed point and device for exhaust gas toxicity reduction. The latter ups the exhaust gas temperature due to oxidation of hydrocarbons fed into exhaust pipeline. Said device for exhaust gas toxicity reduction incorporates structural elements with catalytically active coating. Hydrocarbons in feed device are partially evaporated and chemically varied owing to cracking reaction and/or partial oxidation. Platinum fraction at a separate part of catalytic coating of structural elements makes less than 50% of total amount of catalytically active substances.
EFFECT: efficient heating of exhaust gases, higher efficiency of the system.
