FIELD: physics, computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to routing devices. The method comprises: a network node, having a plurality of first cards on integrated circuits (IC), a plurality of second IC cards and a switching matrix, wherein each second IC card is connected to a corresponding first IC card in a corresponding slot of the network node. The method includes receiving input/output data through an external port of any of the plurality of first or second IC cards. When input/output data packets are received through an external port of said second IC card, said second IC card performs packet classification and at least partially determines the destination for the packets. The method includes delivering packets to a first or second destination of the IC card according to packet classification performed by said second IC card through a logic network layer existing on the first and second IC cards and in the switching matrix.
EFFECT: high data transmission speed.
