SUBSTANCE: invention refers to clinical record managing and expert systems. A system comprises: a clinical record grouping sub-system (10) comprising a graphical user interface (30) able to display data representing a collection of patients' clinical records and additionally configured to group the selected clinical records presented by simultaneously displayed data as clinically related groups (32) as the user thinks proper; an evidence-based characterisation sub-system (12) able to specify evidence-based characteristics (44) which correlate with the clinically related groups; and the CDS user interface (16) able to receive the current patient's data that may be applicable to the current patient's clinical record and to display the clinical decision support information on the basis of the evidence-based characteristics derived from the current patient's received data.
EFFECT: higher reliability of the current patient's data to support clinical decisions based on the specific evidence-based characteristics.
