FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: vacuum interrupter includes fixed and moving contacts located at some distance relative to each other in axial direction. Besides, a vacuum interrupter includes two cylinders of a ceramic insulator, each of which envelopes the fixed contact and the moving contact, as well as contains a floating screen located inside the above ceramic cylinders and having a flange of the floating potential, which is located between two ceramic cylinders and released to environment. The vacuum interrupter is encapsulated by means of encapsulating material, including encapsulation of at least one contact terminal passing from a metal end tip of the corresponding above said contacts, and covering of the corresponding ceramic cylinder at overlapping distance.
EFFECT: creation of a compact vacuum interrupter having increased stability to voltage.
