FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a transport vehicle with a retarder brake. The transport vehicle includes an engine, a gear box with an output shaft, a cardan shaft connected to the output shaft and a frame of the transport vehicle from which there supported is the engine, the gear box, the cardan shaft and drive wheels. Besides, the transport vehicle includes a hydrodynamic retarder brake, and electromagnetic retarder brake or a retarder brake with constant magnets, which includes a rotor and a stator. The rotor is retarded due to transfer of torque to the stator, with that, the rotor is in a drive connection with the drive wheels for their braking. The rotor is mounted outside on the cardan shaft and supported from it. The stator is installed relatively on the rotor by means of a bearing of the retarder brake and supported from the rotor. In order to prevent rotation, the stator is supported from the frame of the transport vehicle by means of a stop against being turned.

EFFECT: simpler connection of a retarder brake to a cardan shaft.
