FIELD: motor industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of motor industry, in particular to braking devices. Braking device comprises rotor, stator, fan wheel and coupling. During operation in braking mode as supplied or joined working fluid is established, braking torque is sent from rotor to stator. Fan wheel, by means of activation and deactivation of coupling, may be engaged into a driving joint rotor and be disengaged from it. Fan wheel is arranged and installed so that in engaged driving connection to rotor it supplies cooling air to braking device. Coupling is installed and loaded with working medium so that supply or connection and drain or connection of working fluid automatically activates and deactivates coupling.
EFFECT: invention provides for compact and reduced dimensions of device, and also absence of necessity in external cooling circuit.
