FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing fluorohydrogen by interaction of calcium fluoride with sulphuric acid. In accordance with the first method of fluorohydrogen production the following stages are performed: (a) stage of mixing particles of calcium fluoride source with the average diameter 1-40 mcm with sulphuric acid, in molar ratio sulphuric acid/calcium fluoride 0.9-1.1 at temperature 0-40°C and the following heating of obtained mixture to higher temperature than in mixing initial materials, but not higher than 70°C, in order to realise reaction and obtain reaction mixture in solid state; and (b) stage of heating reaction mixture in solid state to temperature 100-200°C in order to obtain fluorohydrogen in gas phase. The second version of method of fluorohydrogen production includes the following stages: (c) stage of mixing and carrying out reaction of calcium fluoride source particles with the average diameter 1-40 mcm with sulphuric acid in molar ratio sulphuric acid/calcium fluoride 1.1-2.2 at temperature 0-70°C with obtaining reaction mixture in solid state; and (d) stage of addition and admixing particles of calcium fluoride source with the average diameter 1-40 mcm to reaction mixture in solid state with molar ratio sulphuric acid/calcium fluoride at stages (c) and (d), taken together, constituting 0.9-1.1, and the following heating of obtained mixture to temperature 100-200°C in order to obtain fluorohydrogen in gas phase.

EFFECT: improved method of obtaining fluorohydrogen, which makes it possible to prevent appearance of second paste-like state, facilitating problem of corrosion.
