FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: plasma dipole antenna comprises an electrodeless gas-discharge chamber placed in a feeder circuit, a screen and a transmitting device, wherein the feeder circuit is fitted with a piston which is configured to change position, the screen is placed at the end of the feeder circuit and the transmitting device is connected to the feeder circuit by a T-branch.
EFFECT: high reliability of the structure, reduced high-frequency power required by the transmitter and wider frequency range.
