FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to thermal power industry and can be applied in cooling of flue gas obtained during sulphur-containing fuel combustion to temperature below dew point in regenerative rotor air heaters. The effect is achieved by nozzle containing radial packs of glass heat exchange elements placed in rotor cells on supporting beads, where each pack includes multichannel and single-channel, rectangular and triangular glass blocks with vertical longwise and transverse channels, made of heat-resistant low-alkali reinforced glass and stacked with gaps between them along block length and width, and forming channels with multiline bonding system applied along the pack length and width, and the packs in each cell are laid on radial grates supported by beads in several layers over each other with gaps equal or slightly exceeding thermal expansion of glass blocks.
EFFECT: improved reliability and operation efficiency of regenerative rotor air heater.
