SUBSTANCE: explosion protection method with emergency alarm system consists in the following: a link responding to an emergency is installed between the upper cylindrical part of a valve casing mounted on an explosion hazardous facility and the lever of the valve cover, i.e. "weak link" principle is implemented in the facility safety system. The emergency responding link is made as a safety indicator, for example, a sensor responding to deformation, the sensor output is connected to the input of a sensor signal amplifier, and the output of the sensor signal amplifier is connected to the input of the emergency alarm device.
EFFECT: improved reliability and efficiency of protection of process equipment against emergency by means of fitting the safety system with a safety indicator signalling and alarming the personnel on emergency.
