FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: device includes an internal closed tight air bag from a thermoplastic polyurethane film and an external load-carrying cover from a polyurethane elastomer. Between the external tight and external load-carrying covers there is an intermediate closed load-carrying cover from an elastic fabric. An elasticity modulus of the fabric at tension is higher than the elasticity modulus of the internal tight cover, and the dynamic strength of the fabric is not lower than the dynamic strength of the external load-carrying cover. There are symmetric slots on the intermediate cover. The device is installed into the inner cavity of the pipeline through an open pipe end. At inflation of the inner cover, symmetric slots located parallel to the longitudinal axis of the pipeline diverge, thus providing transfer of pressure created inside the cover to internal walls of the pipeline. The symmetric slots are made only in that part of the device, which contacts the internal wall of the pipeline.
EFFECT: increasing working pressure inside the device, freeze resistance and operability of the device at low temperatures.
