SUBSTANCE: device comprises a C-shaped frame, two sources of radiation installed on the upper arm of the C-shaped frame and arranged with a certain interval in direction of width of a steel plate/strip, two rows of matrices of detectors - gas filled ionisation chambers, installed on the lower arm of the C-shaped frame and arranged with a certain interval in direction of movement of the plate/strip, collimators, installed below two sources of radiation. Collimators make it possible for radiation from each source to radiate only the appropriate row of detectors, modules of preliminary amplifiers connected to matrices of detectors, a data collection device connected with modules of preliminary amplifiers, a computer for processing and display of data connected to the data collection device, and a system of cooling water and compressed air supply, and a system of control to ensure operation and control of the system.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of dynamic measurements, detectors have low temperature drift and resistance to radiation.
