FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method of evaluation of beef cows on milk yielding capacity is characterised by estimated figure of milk yielding capacity, equal to the value of live weight of suckling calves at the age of 3 months, received per 100 kg of live weight of nursing cows of the I calving in this period, for cows of early-maturing beef breeds such as Kazakh white-headed - to 19.7 kg, the cows of large beef breeds such as Charolais - up to 21.5 kg, and indicating low, and the rates of the abovementioned - the higher milk yielding quality of cows of beef production.
EFFECT: method provides simplified evaluation of technological qualities of cows and reliable selection of cows with optimal milk yielding capacity contributing to an increase in body weight of weaned calves.
