SUBSTANCE: invention is a method of selecting cattle of the Kazakh white-headed breed for breeding, relates to agriculture, in particular to the breeding of farm animals. The method provides for determining the degree of breed of animals, their evaluation by a set of characteristics, including bulls for the quality of offspring, bulls for meat qualities, while the assessment and selection is carried out when grading animals according to the minimum parameters of live weight, which for bulls of two years of age should not be less than 550 kg, three-year-old — not less than 650 kg, four-year-old — not less than 750 kg, five-year-old and older — not less than 820 kg, for three-year-old cows, the live weight should be at least 425 kg, four-year-old — not less than 475 kg, five years old and older — not less than 520 kg.
EFFECT: invention will make it possible to increase the meat productivity of the animal population.
