FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: through tunnels are formed in a medial condyle of femur and a lateral condyle of femur. Forming the through tunnels in the medial condyle of femur is accompanied by sampling a cylindrical bone autograft having a diameter equal to that of the formed tunnel. An anterior crucial ligament graft is delivered through the formed tunnels. The ligament graft ends are screwed to advance the screw along the tunnel of femur up to its subchondral layer. The rest of the anterior crucial ligament graft from the shinbone is cut away, and placed into the formed tunnel. The sampled bone autograft is processed to provide its length of H=1.15÷1.2L, wherein H, mm is the length of the bone autograft, L, mm is the length of the femoral tunnel segment from the outer hole to an outer surface of the inserted screw. Thereafter, the bone autograft is placed into the femoral tunnel from its outer hole, and the bone autograft is compressed until the cortical layer matches with the cortical layer of the femur.

EFFECT: method enables increasing the effectiveness of the surgical intervention and reducing the length of normal functional recovery of the knee joint by reducing the risk of postoperative complication, providing higher reliability and stability of the ligament graft fixation.
