FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine. A cranial implant attachable to a defect edge in a bone structure comprises a rim and at least one mount portion. The direction of an extension on the rim or near it passes substantially perpendicularly to the rim. The rim is attachable to the edge of the bone structure. The mount portion is configured to enclose a fastening element so that at least a portion of the fastening element can be projected through the rim edge in the direction from the edge at an angle (α) which is as acute as possible in relation to the direction of the implant extension. The implant is configured so that after it is placed in the bone structure defect, the fastening element can project into the edge of the bone defect operatively. A kit of the parts comprises the above implant, and at least one of one or more fastening elements, guides for guiding cutting media, the cutting media and units for the fastening element control. A method for attaching the implant in the bone structure defect involves the stages: using the above implant attachable to the defect edge. The implant comprises the rim and the direction of its extension on the rim or near it passes substantially perpendicularly to the rim. That is followed by attaching the above rim to the edge of the bone structure by projecting from the rim at an angle (α) which is as acute as possible in relation to the direction of the implant extension and into the bone defect edge.
EFFECT: invention enables projecting in the bone defect edge operatively.
