FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method of cross movement of a heavy component (10) of an assembled unit includes a detachment of the named heavy component (10) from other components of the assembled unit and from the support plate (40) to which it is attached, lift of the heavy component (10) above the support plate (40) by means of the lifting device located within the support plate (40), connecting of at least a couple of rails (60) to the support plate (40) under the lifted heavy component (10), lowering of the heavy component (10) on the traction mechanisms (70) located on the named at least a couple of rails (60), and cross movement of the heavy component (10) from the support plate (40) and other components of the assembled unit. The method of alignment of the heavy component with reference to the second component includes the placement of the first heavy component on the lifting device, its lowering on the support plate (40) with ensuring of entering of the guiding pins designed on the platform of the first heavy component into the guiding openings and pushing of the specified platform along the cross axis by means of the cross alignment device. The heavy component is a turbine unit.
EFFECT: inventions provide improvement of safety when moving a heavy component.
