FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: method is implemented by treatment of process liquid with electrical current; then, a liquid flow is divided into two charged flows of an opposite sign, one of which is directed to a pipeline of the prepared process liquid, and the other one is collected in a drain tank. A control device of electrochemical parameters of process liquids includes a housing, in which an electrode and a membrane is installed, a cover plate with a branch pipe for introduction of process medium on one side and a cover plate with a branch pipe for removal of the prepared liquid on the other side, to which there attached is a copper electrode having a round-off at the top, which is located parallel to the flow of entering liquid at the distance of one third of the housing length from the inlet branch pipe; a membrane located about the electrode is inserted in the housing of the device by means of guides from dielectric material; with that, the housing of the device is connected to a negative pole and the electrode is connected to a positive pole of a DC source.

EFFECT: reducing metal corrosion velocity, and increasing operating life of oil-field equipment.
