FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organometallic synthesis, specifically to a method for combined production of 2,3-dialkylmagnesacyclohept-2-enes of general formula (1), where R=C2H5, H-C3H7, H-C4H9, and 4,5-dialkylmagnesacyclohept-4-enes of general formula . The method includes reacting 2,3-dialkylmagnesacyclohept-2-enes with ethylene in the presence of a catalyst - zirconocene dichloride Cp2ZrCl2 under excess ethylene pressure of 1.0-1.5 MPa with molar ratio of 2,3-dialkylmagnesacyclohept-2-ene:Cp2ZrCl2=10:(0.3-0.6). The method is carried out in a solvent mixture of diethyl ether and tetrahydrofuran, taken in volume ratio of 5:1, at temperature of about 20°C for 6-8 hours.
EFFECT: obtained compounds can be used as cocatalysts in oligomerisation and polymerisation of olefins, acetylene and dienes, and as initial reactants for synthesis of different bifunctional and heterocyclic compounds.
