FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: patient's body weight is measured; for this purpose, he/she stands on two scales simultaneously with one foot standing on each one of the scales. That is followed by measuring a difference between the right and left foot. If there is no difference, the outcome is considered to be excellent; if the difference is from 1% to 5%, the outcome is considered to be good; the difference falling within the range of 6% to 10% shows the satisfactory outcome, whereas the difference of more than 10% provides stating the unsatisfactory outcome.
EFFECT: method enables increasing the accuracy of determining individual's body weight distribution on the bearing surface by the instrumental measurement of the difference of the left and right foot.
