FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: indexed cutting plate has opposite side surfaces and two cutting sections, one of which is used, when the cutting plate is fixed in a plate holder. The opening of the plate stretches via both side surfaces. Two main thrust surfaces arranged on opposite sides of the plate opening stretch from one of side surfaces, besides, one main thrust surface is closer to the used cutting section compared to the other one. Two auxiliary thrust surfaces stretch from the same side surface. On the top view of the side surface auxiliary thrust surfaces are transverse to two main thrust surfaces, and also main thrust surfaces connected to main and auxiliary thrust surfaces.
EFFECT: higher reliability of cutting plate fixation.
