SUBSTANCE: claimed cutting tool comprises holder to retain tangential insert in its seat. The latter comprises lower, rear and location surfaces. Location surface includes three thrust ledges extending therefrom. Every location thrust ledge includes appropriate location thrust surface. Three location thrust surfaces rest on said insert at three points to ensure tight seat of said insert.
