FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: target composed of sealed shell of flat separator is, first, subjected to crosswise cutting by cutting off the target end parts and, then, target is unsealed on both long sides and of both surfaces. Note here that separator withdrawn from unsealed target is knocked down to remove irradiated target component therefrom. Claimed device comprises target unsealing device, motor (6) and reduction gearbox (7) with central working shaft (6) driving cutting rolls on one side and, on opposite side, via linkage with moving slide, reciprocating the guillotine-shears. Target is, first, placed in withdrawing device and clamped by cam gripper. Then, guillotine-shears (10) are used for crosswise cutting of said target. Now, target is placed on withdrawing table (14) and pushed between two cutting-off rolls for trimming of target shell.
EFFECT: remote unsealing of target in radiation-protective hot chambers.
