FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: gear wheel consists of a body in the form of a disk with a hub and of a gear rim. The outer disk diameter is equal to the outside diameter of the gear rim. The gear rim is made as a profiled ring from a band with its width being equal to the teeth width, the outer profile matches the profile of the gear rim. One end face of the ring is fixed to the disk end.
EFFECT: lower costs of gear wheel production.
