FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for installation and mounting of optic fibres or optical cables. The cable containing device comprises a housing, cable spool and a section of fibre-optical cable. The housing has the internal zone, the first and the second hole located opposite to the first hole. The first and the second holes provide an access to the internal zone. The cable spool is located in the internal zone of the housing and is coupled with the housing with a possibility of rotation. The cable spool contains a drum and flange, coupled with the drum. The flange has an external female lateral surface, a cable control section and adapter partition section. The adapter partition section passes outward from the adapter partition section and forms a section of external lateral surface. The section of the optic fibre cable is located around the cable spool drum.
EFFECT: ensuring of efficient work with fibre-optical cables of various lengths.
