FIELD: metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to die stamping, in particular, to shaping of thin-walled axially symmetric shells, and can be used for production of large-size thin-walled truncated cone-shaped parts at dual-action presses. Working pressure is applied to billet by cylindrical shaped elastic male die. At that, additional reactive friction forces are created by means of elastic cone, which surface corresponds to female die working surface and which is arranged in female die coaxially with elastic male die at billet opposite side.
EFFECT: higher quality of shells due to its wall reduced thickness.
