SUBSTANCE: device for preparing feed comprises a drum, a drive, loading and the unloading trunnions. The drum is made in the form of a cylinder mounted obliquely relative to the horizontal axis, with end walls of the elliptical shape. The end wall of the loading trunnion is made flat and is mounted at an angle not only to the axis of rotation of the drum, but also to its axis. The end wall of the unloading trunnion is made conical-shaped and is mounted at an angle not only to the axis of rotation of the drum, but also to its axis.

EFFECT: use of the invention enables to improve the quality of the prepared feed.
