FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: installation contains a drum, a drive and charge and discharge trunnions. The drum is designed in the form of a cylinder mounted tilted at an angle α relative to the horizontal rotation axis, the drum having flat elliptical-shaped butt-end walls. The butt-end walls are positioned at unequal angles β and ψ relative to the rotation axis and at an angle φ relative each other. The axes of the major ellipses of the butt-end walls are turned by an angle ω relative each other along the drum rotation axis. There is a conic spring with a flat coil cross-section mounted all along the drum length and its rotation axis, the spring equipped with a device for measuring coils pitch by way of extension or compression. The sprig is mounted so that its minor diameter is positioned inside the charge trunnion while the major diameter is positioned at the discharge trunnion.

EFFECT: invention usage allows to enhance produced feedstuffs quality.
