FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to orthopaedic dentistry, and is intended for production of metal-free dental prostheses. Method includes performing plasma sputtering onto a substrate layer by layer, made of material containing aluminium oxide. White electrocorundum microgrit is used with grain size of main fraction from 7 to 20 mcm with packed density of 1.7-1.65 g/cm3. Plasmatron is arranged from substrate surface at a distance while ensuring layer thickness, evaporated in one pass of plasmatron, from 7 to 25 mcm. Inert gas is used as plasma forming gas.
EFFECT: method, due to reduction of porosity, uniform shrinkage and reduction of probability of formation of internal cracks after annealing, increases strength of structural dental ceramics based on aluminium oxide.
