FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Wire bundle is unwound, straightened, heated, squeezed, quenched and re-heated, cooled down and wound to bundle. Wire squeezing is executed by orbital rolling with post-strain holding to formation of polygonized structure while heating is performed by induction. Proposed line comprises unwinder, straightener, heater, strainer, quencher composed by sprayer, heating and cooling units and drawing bench. Note here that said strainer comprises head composed of a case with three rollers, yoke arranged in said case engaged with said rollers by tie with weights and levers. Said yoke is composed of equilateral triangle at vertices if which fitted are axles of weights and rollers ties. Note here that said levers are engaged with adjustable thrusts confining drawing of rollers towards device axle while said case is provided with rotational drive.
EFFECT: higher quality and strength.
