FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipe cutting. Proposed process comprises feed of cutting tool, cutting at high tool rpm by accumulated power of spinning masses, maximum rate of crosswise feed and maximum cut depth per one saw tooth and removal of cutting tool. At cutting, feed and removal of cutting tool is performed with minimum crosswise feed at minimum cut depth per of disc tooth defined by S=Zn·Z·n/1000, where S is tool crosswise feed rate, m·rpm, Zn is cut depth per one tooth, mm, Z is saw tooth quantity, n is saw disc rpm. Flying saw disc comprises bed and guide for carriage to displace therein. Pipe clamp and crosswise feed mechanism with cutting tool is arranged at said carriage and articulated with crosswise feed hydraulic drive with working fluid regulator, and flywheel fitted on motor shaft. Crosswise feed turn mechanism is composed of holder and crossbar fitted on its free end, sleeve and adapter being fitted in its central bore. Adapter front end is coupled with hydraulic drive rod. Spring fitted in sleeves is mounted on its opposite end while free end has thread with nut.
EFFECT: pipe cutting without burrs.
