FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: scrubber comprises a casing consisting of the upper and lower sections, a branch pipe to supply dust-laden gas, branch pipe to withdraw cleaned gas, a mist extractor with a centrifugal swirler and a branch pipe to withdraw liquid from the mist extractor, a spraying device, trays with a vibrator and a stabiliser, a nozzle for periodic spraying and a sludge trap; the stabiliser cells are square, the spraying nozzle comprises a hollow cylindrical casing including a cylindrical part with external thread to be connected to the union of a distribution pipe, and a captive nut with a conical outlet hole, in the cylindrical chamber of the casing there installed is the swirler made as a bush with external screw head with large pitch of trapezoidal profile and fixed on a rod which is connected to the casing by a mesh filter, a plate sprayer is connected to the end face of the captive nut, the said sprayer consists of at least two plates perpendicular to the casing axis and parallel to each other, one of the plates has a central hole, and the other plate is solid and is fixed to the first plate by three fasteners.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability of dust separation by increasing the liquid spraying level by nozzles.
