SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of repairing nuclear power plants. The apparatus for repairing a damaged area of the underwater region of the wall of a container or reservoir, particularly in the region of the wall of a reservoir of a nuclear power plant includes a guiding system (6), which can be attached along a side wall (12) at a distance therefrom and can be fixed thereto. On the rails of the guiding system (6) there is at least a first support (20), which can be moved on the rails and can move in the longitudinal direction (5). A receiving element (30) capable of being displaced is placed on said support, said element being intended for an adhesive surface of a repair cover plate (22) which can be placed on the region of the wall having the damaged location (21). On the first support (20) there is at least one suction cup which is connected to a suction pipe and can be mounted on the side wall (12).
