NON-CONTACT RADIO-WAVE MEASUREMENT METHOD OF LIQUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC G01F23/284

Abstract RU 2551260 C1

FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method of liquid level measurement is offered according to which towards a liquid surface along its normal line electromagnetic waves are radiated with the first frequency, the reflected electromagnetic waves are received and the first difference of phases of radiated and received electromagnetic waves is measured. After that towards a liquid surface along its normal line electromagnetic waves are radiate with the second frequency, the reflected electromagnetic waves are received and the second difference of phases of the radiated and received electromagnetic waves is measured, from the measured values of the first and second difference of phases the liquid level in a vessel is obvious.

EFFECT: higher measurement accuracy.
