FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises microwave fixed frequency microwave oscillator connected via first power divider, primary output of directed coupler and circulator to transceiver antenna for irradiation of electromagnetic waves towards the fluid surface and perpendicular thereto and receipt of reflected electromagnetic waves. Besides, device comprises 1st mixer of radiated and received waves, its first and second inputs being connected to extra output of directed coupled and output of circulator via 2nd power divider, 2nd mixer, 1st and 2nd frequency N-factor dividers. Note here that 1st and 2nd inputs of second mixer are connected via 1st and 2nd frequency N-factor divider with second outputs of 1st and 2nd power divider while second mixer output is connected with computer.
