FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: device contains two generators of electromagnetic waves with fixed frequency connected to the first and second inputs of switch, its output via the main waveguide of directed brancher is connected to antenna for electromagnetic wave emission towards liquid surface at right angle, antenna for reception the reflected electromagnetic waves, mixer of emitted and received electromagnetic waves, to its first and second inputs the antenna receiving the reflected electromagnetic waves and secondary output of the directed brancher, respectively are connected, the mixer output is connected with input of the calculating unit, its output is connected with control input of the switch.

EFFECT: higher accuracy liquid level measurements.
