FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: spatial system of optic contrast lines, consisting of a longitudinal-axial line of the foot, passing through the most distant point of the heel part and most distant point of the middle finger, and six parallel strips, directed perpendicularly to the longitudinal-axial line of the foot, is projected at a specified angle on the plantar surface of the foot, placed on a bearing plate, and on a calibrating plate with a flat dull reflecting surface. The first strip is superposed with the most distant point of the heel part on the longitudinal-axial line of the foot, the sixth strip is superposed with the end point of the foot. The distance from the first strip to the second, third, fourth and fifth strip are respectively equal to the product of coefficients k12, k13, k14, k15 on D, where D is the foot length, the coefficient values: for children of a school and preschool age are: k12=0.20, k13=0.33, k14=0.36, k15=0.62; for the group of adult patients: k12=0.20, k13=0.34, k14=0.42, k15=0.62. Axial rays of the projection direction are perpendicular to the bearing plate, and the registration direction is in the plane, which passes through the longitudinally-axial line of the foot and perpendicular, drawn to the bearing plate.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain quantitative information about the height of relief of the plantar surface of the examined foot in required sections and in that way simplify the process of the foot surface shape determination due to the projection of the system of six optic contrast strips.
