FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: braking force control device for a vehicle contains brake pedal, electric booster, main cylinder, pedal pressure force detection facility, pedal stroke detection facility, facilities for calculation of the first and the second target braking values, contribution degree setting facility, target braking value calculation facility, brake actuation speed calculation facility. In the main cylinder, pressure is generated and applied to wheel brake cylinders which pressure is the result of pedal pressure force stacking and the result of electric booster operation. In the pedal pressure force detection facility input from inlet rod is calculated as pedal pressure force according to the equation: -(Fi)=pressure (Pb) in main cylinder×inlet rod area (Ai)+spring force (K)×relative displacement (ΔX) of inlet rod and main cylinder piston. The contribution degree setting facility returns values by following ways. If the target braking value is evaluated as low and brake actuation speed is less than or equal to prescribed value then contribution degree of the first target value is set so that it exceeds contribution degree of the second target value of braking. If brake actuation speed exceeds prescribed value then contribution degree of the second target value is set so that it exceeds value of the first degree of contribution. Target brake value calculation facility calculates and summarises parts of the first and the second target brake value.

EFFECT: comfortable braking mode for driver is provided.
