FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacturing of the textured electrical steel. Method includes melting and casting to produce steel billet, heating of the steel billet and hot rolling to produce steel strip, normalisation executed by two stages: first of all the strip is heated to 1100-1200°C, then cooled to 900-1000°C for 50-200 s, then strip is quickly cooled in water with temperature 10-100°C with simultaneous tension force application to the steel strip, at that in the temperature range 900-500°C the tension force 1-200 N/mm2 act on the strip. After normalisation the following is performed: single pass or double pass cold rolling is performed with interpass annealing, initial recrystallisation annealing, application of the annealing separator mainly containing MgO for annealing of the final product, at that annealing includes annealing of the second recrystallisation, and affinage annealing.

EFFECT: invention optimises martensite content and distribution in the steel plate after normalisation by adjustment of the steel plate tension, as result martensite content is within range facilitating improvement of the magnetic properties of the final product thus optimising magnetic properties of the final products.
