SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of a textured sheet of electrical steel used as a material for the iron core of electrical devices. The steel of the sheet has a chemical composition containing, wt%: C: not more than 0.005, Si: 2.0 to 5.0, Mn: 0.01 to 0.30, if necessary, at least one element of Ni: 0.01 to 1.00, Sb: 0.005 to 0.50, Sn: 0.005 to 0.50, Cu: 0.01 to 0.50, Cr: 0.01 to 0.50, P: 0.005 to 0.50, Mo: 0.005 to 0.10, Ti: 0.001 to 0.010, Nb: 0.001 to 0.010, V: 0.001 to 0.010, B: 0.0002 to 0.0025, Bi : from 0.005 to 0.50, Te: from 0.0005 to 0.010 and Ta: from 0.001 to 0.010, the rest is Fe and unavoidable impurities, and is characterized by a secondary recrystallization structure having an average diameter of an equivalent circle of crystal grains in the range from 10 to 100 mm, the average aspect ratio represented by the ratio (length in the rolling direction) / (length in the direction perpendicular to rolling) is less than 2.0, and the standard deviation of the aspect ratio is not more than 1.0.

EFFECT: produced sheets are characterized by good magnetic properties and low dispersion along the entire length of the roll, even with extremely small sheet thicknesses.
