FIELD: metallurgy; production of steel strip.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides different arrangements of continuous casting mechanism and broad strip hot mill. Proposed plant contains continuous casting mechanism and cutting device, tunnel-type furnace in direction of one casting strand after which broad strip hot mill is installed, rollers to level edges, descalers and strip coilers. Strand of continuous casting mechanism is connected with broad strip hot mill for hot rolling of thick slabs, thickness 120-400 mm, by means of parallel and turnable reloaders arranged after tunnel-type furnace in strand and before broad strip hot mill and designed for transportation of continuously cast thin slabs, thickness 30-70 mm and/or continuously cast medium slabs, thickness 70-120 mm, or by intermediate reloader or by means of intermediate rewinder made with possibility of cross displacement. Thin slab is delivered to rough mill and/or finishing mill at temperature equal to or lower or higher than temperature of middle slab delivered to roughing and/or finishing mill or with thickness equal to, smaller or greater than thickness of middle slab entering roughing and/or finishing mill.
EFFECT: provision of coordination of operation of high-technology casting and standard rolling equipment.
