FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to machine building and can be used for cutting with in-feed. Cutting head comprises base surface, side area connected therewith, upper area connected with side area and lower feet arranged at said top surface. It includes cutting edges to contact with workpiece to remove the material and to extend from upper area central point to periphery of upper area and located at the angle to base plane, approximately perpendicular to said axis. Central parts of cutting edges are located at larger distance from base surface along the axis than their peripheral parts. Cutting process comprises spinning of cutting head at its feed to workpiece. Material is removed from workpiece by front blades arranged at cutting head front surface. Tool holder is bent to direct cutting head inside the workpiece. Cutting head displacement towards the workpiece is terminated when cutting head reaches preset depth inside work piece. Spinning head is withdrawn from workpiece inside for material removal therefrom.
EFFECT: higher surface quality and tool hardness.
