FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: first, each cow is milked by milking machine through the milk counter. Then the milk obtained is transported along the milk line with communications of the milking machine to the collection tank. The weight proportion of fat in the average sample of milk before and after transportation along the milk line is determined. The class of milk line is determined by the index of destabilisation of fat particles - D. And at different productivity of the milk line at the plant during the day the total duration of each milking is determined - Tn and the amount of milk in the final tank - Mn, where n - is the serial number of milking. The average productivity of the milk line is calculated - Vn according to the formula: Vn=Mn/Tn. The index of destabilisation of fat particles at high performance of the milk line is determined - Dv and at low productivity of the line - Dn. Class of the milk line is determined at its different performance in accordance with the following ranges of values of Dv and Dn: class I with a high preservation of fat - less than 4%, class II with an average preservation of fat - up to 7%, class III with low preservation of fat - more than 7%.
EFFECT: increased accuracy in determining the class of milk line.
