FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention represents a magnetic-noise test method of state of strength of load-carrying structures from ferromagnetic materials and can be used for technical inspection of load-carrying structures. When implementing the method, the diagnosed structure is influenced by an alternating electromagnetic field, and as a result, in a measuring coil located on the surface of the diagnosed structure there induced is an electromotive force the total response of which, being called magnetic noise, is recorded by measurement equipment. The received signal is converted to a numerical value and compared to basic signals. Basic values of signals, which are determined on similar specimens of structures at action of all possible types of loads before destruction, form a data base in which each value based on an experimentally established relationship between state of strength and value of signal is provided with the state of strength, which can be quantitatively expressed in the parameters required for the diagnosed structure.
EFFECT: evaluation of the current state of strength of load-carrying structures from ferromagnetic materials.
